In today's flour processing market, stone mill flour machines are highly favoured by consumers due to their superior product quality and favourable texture. Consequently, these machines hold significant potential within the flour processing sector, attracting numerous users. However, some operators encounter substandard processing results during routine operation. What measures should be taken in such instances?

1. Ensure the material is evenly distributed across the sieve surface. If this requirement is not met, first verify the horizontal level of the sieve body. Then adjust the feed gate openings; in principle, these should be consistent. Adjustments can be made based on the distribution of material across the sieve width – reduce openings where material is concentrated and increase where sparse. The feed material must cover the entire length of the sieve surface. Whether full-length coverage is achievable depends on the sieve configuration and airflow strength.

　　2. Insufficient airflow in the stone mill. Potential causes include inadequate feed rate or excessive mesh density in certain sections. Coarse bran must cover the entire screen length; it is common for fine bran and coarse middlings to occupy up to half the tail section screen surface. Adjust the corresponding air valve to reduce flow. If the entire screen length is covered yet excessive material remains on the screen, inspect the screen mesh. Often, increasing the mesh tension will restore normal cleaning efficiency; alternatively, loosen a specific section of the screen mesh or appropriately reduce the flow rate.

In the production of stone-ground flour mills, identifying the root cause of any malfunction is essential to ensure orderly and safe production, enhance efficiency, and guarantee product quality.
