The flour processing market today sees an ever-increasing array of milling equipment, such as wheat flour mills, flour processing machinery, and stone-ground flour mills, all of which are highly favoured by the public. However, many users also raise the question: how can production costs be effectively and reasonably reduced? In fact, there are three key areas to focus on:
1. Procurement. The market is saturated with flour mill manufacturers offering a vast array of products. Therefore, when selecting equipment, it is essential to choose machinery with advanced technology, consistent quality, and reliable operation. This ensures stable processes, well-integrated systems, and smooth workflow across all stages. Such equipment effectively reduces failure rates and maintenance needs, safeguarding the enterprise's production efficiency.
2. Installation. Flour mills must be installed according to correct process flows, prioritising operational feasibility while meeting production and hygiene standards. This also ensures a favourable working environment for staff, minimising dust and noise pollution. Where feasible, transformers should be positioned as close as possible to power-consuming equipment. Longer cable runs result in greater power loss – a critical consideration given current high copper prices. Excessively large cable cross-sections also contribute to elevated production costs.
3. Production. Optimising electricity consumption significantly reduces flour mill operating costs, making motor selection critical. When evaluating power usage, motor quality and starting performance are paramount considerations. Operating duration and circuitry also influence energy consumption, making the selection of high-quality motors vital for energy efficiency.
