The receiving of raw materials includes receiving raw materials from transportation vehicles, transferring, measuring, and initial cleaning of raw materials.

The form of receiving raw materials is related to conditions such as plant type, site, transportation and packaging methods. In order to adapt to the receiving of bulk and packaging materials, the unloading materials received from the transportation vehicles are generally received by a certain volume of unloading pits, and the transfer is completed through the transportation equipment with corresponding transportation capabilities. The raw material receiving process is characterized by large working flow and large fluctuations, and uneven equipment load.

In order to facilitate the connection of transportation links, the ability to receive and transfer raw materials must be certain.

For the convenience of accounting, after the raw materials are received, metering equipment should be set up. Generally, preliminary cleaning equipment should be set up before the metering equipment. The measuring equipment usually uses mechanical or electronic automatic scales. Because the flow of receiving raw materials is unstable and the automatic scales are intermittent working equipment, an intermediate warehouse must be set up before the scales. Two conditions can be set for the initial cleaning, and the second adopts a vibrating screen to improve the efficiency of the initial cleaning.

The transfer and conveying equipment should be mechanical conveying equipment, and pneumatic conveying mode should not be used. The conveying capacity should have a certain margin to cope with the fluctuating flow.
