Screening equipment is the main equipment for corn cleaning. Commonly used machines include vibrating screens and plane rotary screens. Two types of screens are generally used. The holes remove small impurities.

Suction stone removal machine is the main equipment for stone removal. Because the corn kernels are large, the grain shape is flat, and the suspension speed is high, compared to the stone removing machine for cleaning wheat, the technical characteristics of corn should be changed accordingly. Such as sieve body amplitude, large amount of suction and so on.

Magnetic separation equipment generally uses permanent magnet cylinders and magnetic fences to remove magnetic metal impurities in corn.

The suspension speed of corn is large, so it is effective to use suction type air separator to separate light impurities. Generally, vertical suction ducts or circulating air separators are used in conjunction with screening equipment to remove light impurities.
